How Does It Work?
Chances are, you know hundreds or maybe even thousands of people and business owners. These are people and businesses in your local area or within your circle of influence that TCF may never have the opportunity to come in contact with. And because of your special relationship, you may be aware of certain financial needs or struggles that some of those people have that TCF could potentially be able to solve or assist them with.

For example, maybe you know one or more people who are receiving payments on a private mortgage note they carried back in order to sell a property. Or perhaps they are receiving payments from a structured settlement, annuity, casino jackpot or state lottery. Or maybe you know someone with a pending personal injury lawsuit. Or perhaps you know a business owner who is having a tough time because of the economic crisis and he needs help with his cash flow, or a small business loan, or maybe needs a cash advance against some of his invoices. However you happen to know them, if any of these people are having a financial hardship and are in need of personal or business financing, TCF may be able to help them.
You don't necessarily even need to know the entire scope of the problem or know what solution to offer. It is sufficient for you to merely identify that there is a financial problem and confirm that they are interested in possibly finding a solution.
This special relationship places you in a valuable position and TCF is willing to compensate you for that. By simply mentioning to the person or business owner that you know of a company that might be able to help them solve their problem, and while you can't guarantee anything, your suggestion is to put them in contact with TCF to see if we can possibly help. It won't cost them anything, there is no risk and, of course, they would be under no obligation. We also won't bombard them with spam or telemarketing sales calls either.
Obviously this is a no-pressure tactic; you are simply suggesting to a friend, relative, colleague or business owner that you may know a company that might be able to solve their problem, or at the very least, it might be worth taking a closer look. Under those circumstances virtually everyone would welcome your invitation to see if we could help them.
All you would do at that point is complete the brief referral form and tell them we will be contacting them shortly.
How Are Bonuses Calculated?
For ease of use, referral bonuses are calculated based on the funded deal price. Deals under $200,000 are paid a flat rate, while deals over $200,000 are normally paid as a percentage of the final funded price.
For deals between $10,000 and $30,000 we pay a bonus of $300. On deals between $30,000 and $200,000 we pay a bonus of $500 and on deals over $200,000 we pay bonus calculated at one-quarter percent of the funded deal price.
Exceptions

For any closed deals under $10,000 TCF will pay a custom referral fee based on available profit margin. |

Most very large deals require extremely low profit margins in order to be competitive. In these cases TCF reserves the right to pay a custom referral fee commensurate with the profit margin. |
The Fine Print
- Active or professional note brokers and 'cash flow consultants' are ineligible for participation
- Any note or deal you refer that has been 'shopped' or sent to ANY other buyer is ineligible
- Any note or deal you refer that you found online or that has been posted anywhere online is ineligible
- Any note or deal you refer where you have not personally spoken to the client and informed them you are referring them to TCF is ineligible
- You will be required to send TCF a completed Form W9 for tax purposes with either your Social Security Number or Federal Tax ID before we will release your first referral bonus check
